Description
Take a break from the usual with these homemade chicken sausage patties tender ground chicken, a dash of spices, and a hint of honey come together for the perfect bite. Cook them your way: in the oven, on the stovetop, or crisped up in the air fryer!
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground chicken
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon sage ground
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 tablespoon honey
Instructions
In a mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, salt, black pepper, sage, garlic, Italian seasoning and honey.
Using your hands, shape them into eight patties and place them on a lined tray. Cover the patties and refrigerate for at least 10 minutes for the flavors to meld.

Notes
TO STORE: Once cooled, transfer the leftover sausage patties to an airtight container and store them in the fridge for up to 5 days.
TO FREEZE: The sausages also freeze well for up to 2 months. Remember to let them thaw in the fridge before reheating.
TO REHEAT: Quickly zap the patties in the microwave or reheat them in a skillet on the stove until warmed through.
